Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand, India

Jim Corbett tiger reserve, the oldest national park in India is located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Dhikala zone of Corbett Tiger Reserve is unique in terms of its landscape as well as flora and fauna. Residing in Dhikala forest lodge along the banks of Ramganga river is an experience of the lifetime. Day time safaris through the grasslands and by the river side is a feast to the eyes, thanks to the rich biodiversity that Dhikala boasts about. Nights at Dhikala are filled with trumpets of elephants and growls of tigers. Elephant heards crossing Ramganga is a sight to watch for. Tiger sightings in Dhikala’s landscape is an experience on its own. Apart from tigers and elephants Dhikala has chithal, sambar, hog deers, leopards and a variety of birds.
